Foster Care Month

May is National Foster Care Month. Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, distributed a press release calling on all Americans to find a way to get involved in raising awareness about and addressing the needs of children and youth in care.  Additionally, long ago, another leader encouraged the same when he wrote in James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…" A variety of resources are available to learn more about helping children and youth in care at Arrow.org
